A Set of 5 Antique Original Chinese Embroidered black Silk consisting of two Purses, an Eyeglasses case, a Fan cover and an Envelope. Embroidered with gold and silver threads, black silk tassels.

They come with a very heavy wooden frame, dimensions: 72x61x8 cm. Condition: good for their age, despite minor wear, as seen in the photos. Finely made bags became fashionable status symbols, and wealthy people frequently exchanged them as gifts. By the late Qing period, professional workshops created pouches in matched sets, often patterned with auspicious imagery.
