RARE Antique Straits Chinese Extra long Chatelaine pendant featuring two genuine old coins old , one half rupee British raj India coin (dates 1889) and smaller 10 cents strait settle coin (Straits dollar was the currency of the Straits Settlements from 1898 until 1939) This type of Chatelaine are often suspended from a loop on the shoulder or from the back of a neck ring It has bells which make beautiful sound upon movement Beautiful details all around. Unsigned but acid tested for silver (atleast 800 silver) Dates late 19th to early 20th century Materials : silver (gold and silver color) Measurements : Measures 25 1/2 inches in total length x 1 1/2 inches max Weighs 90 grams on my weighing scale. Condition : Considering its age I will say its in overall in good old condition Some metal discoloration /darkening to the metal Can see a bend to one of the Chatelaine grooming tool at the end No repairs or damage seen.
