Rare Aurthentic Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty Sword Jian Silver And Gold Inlaid. Rare Authentic Antique 19th Century Chinese Qing Dynasty Double Swords Jian Silver And Gold Inlaid.

Scarce antique 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Shuang Jian Double Sword Hudiedao. Very rare antique 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty Shuang Jian double sword Hudiedao. Each Jian sword has a hand-forged double-edged, sturdy steel blade decorated with silver and yellow metal, possibly gold, with figures and calligraphy, and dragons with other celestial motifs. The brass-shaped pommel and crossguard are decorated with a dragon, and each of the grips is composed of two ox bone scales engraved on both sides with figures. A black lacquered wooden scabbard, mounted with large brass fittings pierced and engraved with a dragon. CONDITION: Showing age and usage, the flat inner sides of the blades are slightly rusty, and the inlay is worn in some spots. One of the bone grip scales is cracked, the lacquer finish on the wooden scabbard is chipped, and the bottom under the chape is wrapped in modern black tape.
