Chinese Ming Dynasty Jade & Pearl Necklace with Gold Gilding on Silver

  

A beautiful, handmade necklace from the Chinese Ming Dynasty. It made with 8, 10K gold gilded, silver medallions set with Jade Nephrite navettes. Each jade piece is surrounded by blue glass beads and small real pearls.

Each linked medallion is separated by real teardrop pearls. The medallion hangs from a knotted silk cord with decorative flowers on each end. It has a button clasp. Each medallion measures 1 3/4L x 1 long. The total length of the medallion string is 7 1/2 long.

The medallions and the cord totals 15 long. The stones do test as Nephrite. The are some stains on the pearls. There are no missing, broken pieces.
