Antique Chinese Silver & Lapis Choker Necklace Export Gilt Filigree Cloisonne

  

An exquisite necklace made in China for the export market in the early 20th century. Composed of a large Lapis lazuli centerpiece set in a filigree gilt silver bezel that is decorated with ornate cloisonne flowers and leaves. It has a double strand of lapis beads interspersed with brass beads. The clasp is stamped silver and features a box clasp in good working order.
