Antique Chinese Silver Gilt Jade Grapes Leaf Drop Earrings

  

Antique Chinese silver gilt (gold over silver) jade grapes earrings. The earrings date to the Victorian era c1900 and are hallmarked with Chinese marks on the hooks. They are rare and this is the first pair that I have acquired. The earrings are shaped as bunches of grapes with two vine leaves on the top. They measure 2.9 cms in length x 1.3 cms and weigh 6.8 grams.

There is slight wear to the gilt on one hook and in excellent condition overall. Please see my other antique jewellery currently listed.
