Antique Original Chinese Export Gold Gilt Carnelian Sterling Silver Bracelet. Exquisite Chinese Export Yellow Gold Gilt Sterling Silver Carnelian Bracelet.

It is crafted with traditional designs used in chinese art and ornaments and set in solid sterling silver with bright yellow gold gilt. There are applied beautiful blue and purple enamel feathers symbolic of the Tian-Tsui.

The Tian-Tsui was a design that used real feathers of the kingfisher bird to make elaborate chinese art and jewlry. It has five wonderfully decorated domed panels three of which are set with deep pure orange carnelian stones(symbolic of health and luck). Intricate thick cannetille work of twisted wires and applied silver beads also deck this piece while the back is closed off with a filigree mesh pattern.

It has an appealing and refined look when worn. 7 inches wearable length × 1/2 inch wide × about 10mm thick from top of stone. Each carnelian is about 15mm long by 8mm wide.

It weighs about 30 grams. There is a hidden tongue clasp with safety chain. It is excellent condition , no wear to enamel nor chips and cracks to the stones.
