Wonderful antique 19th century Chinese Jade Brooch. This can also be worn as a pendant - Hinged Bail is attached to the pin base (pictures#7,8).

Hand-carved slab of rare "Moss In Snow" natural, untreated Jadeite Jade; nice creamy translucent white with vivid green veins. It is housed in a wonderfully crafted Gilded Solid Sterling Silver setting.

So much work took place to create the exquisite filigree! This handmade pin is a real beauty and we don't come across pieces like this often. These antique filigree pieces are no longer being made so once they are gone they are gone forever. This item came from old wealthy estate private.
