Gorgeous Chinese Gold Gilt Sterling Silver Enamel & Gemstone Gourd double Tea Caddy. I do believe this is the most gorgeous Chinese sterling silver tea caddy container I have ever seen and the only one out there that I have seen like it. This beauty features two compartments one on top one on bottom. Rich gold gilding with incredible metal and enamel work throughout.

The butterflies and flowers beautifully crafted and decorated in brightly colored enamels. Tea caddy is further adorned and accented with cabochon gem stones. On the bottom is marked silver and S925. Overall condition is very good to excellent for a piece with this age. Gold gilt shows no signs of wear, really incredible condition.

No breaks, or losses to any of the enamel work. This tea caddy has a nice size measuring 6-1/2" tall by 3-1/2" wide with a quality weight of 262.2 grams.
