Antique 1900's Chinese Gilt Silver Filigree & Enamel Peacock on Lacquered Stand Figurine. For your consideration is a very unique and beautiful Chinese antique miniature. A figurine of a peacock with folded tail, mounted on a carved lacquered wood stand resembling tree branches.

Extremely fine gilt silver filigree with multicolored guilloche enamel on the bird's feathers. Hallmark on the underside of one of the tail feathers "SILVER 925".

The bird can be removed from the stand, it attaches to it with the pins its feet. Circa first half of the 20th century, China. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE FOR MORE PHOTOS!
