Amazing Asian Silver Gilt Mounted HUGE Goldstone Opal Chinese Fortune Pendant. A wonderful vintage Chinese fortune pendant. A huge rectangular goldstone sits within a silver gilt roped frame, adorned with a scene of trees and housing in engraved gold, with two tiny claw set red stones to tree centres and two natural claw set opals. Turn the piece over and you have some Chinese lettering (most of the gilding has worn from them so appear silver)...... A very kind ebayer advised me it means'Fu Shou' or Fortune Longetivity.

The metal isn't marked but I bought this from an actual jewellers who guaranteed it as silver gilt. Measurements: 2.25" by 1.1". In good overall condition; there is a small corner chip (top left) to goldstone which is a fragile material (see images 9 & 10). I actually didn't notice it when I bought it.

The gilding to bail has also worn. A beautiful and striking pendant in wear, with a fabulous motif we can all use right now. All photographs should be supersized for full, clear detail of item on offer and its condition.
