19th Century Chinese GILDED SILVER FILIGREE & ENAMEL BRISE FAN

  
Fächer, Èventail, Ventaglio, Abanico Legyezö, Leque, Ogi, Uchiwa. Fine Early 19th Century Chinese for Export SILVER FILIGREE & ENAMEL BRISE FAN. It has 18 sticks connected with a button. Wonderful sticks with silver wire filigree and enamel blue and green in both sides. Both sides has different designs and are totally decorated. Incredible details and fantastic workmanship! The guards have a wonderful deepest carved with personages. The fan comes with its original lacquer storage box, with gold painting on exterior and lid, interior painted with birds and colorful flowers. Totally open: 19 3/4 (50 cm).

12 1/4 x 2 1/8 x 2 (31.5 x 5.5 x 5 cm). The pith or rice paper leaf still retains strong color. It has some damage on the paper, shown in pictures; consistent with is age and use for a piece more than 150 years old. The fan open and close appropriately.

The box has some damage, marked in pictures with yellow color. We took detailed pictures, please observe them attentively.
